This Is Now | Short Film (2015)

This Is Now is a deeply personal short film that I wrote, directed, filmed, produced, edited, and narrated. From conceptualizing the script to overseeing every stage of production, this project was a true labor of love. Collaborating with composer Benjamin Ishizuka (@bodyprayermusic), I worked closely to craft an original soundtrack that complemented the film’s emotional depth.

Presented as a poem in video form, This Is Now serves as a tribute to those who have struggled with mental health, offering a message of solidarity and hope. Through evocative storytelling and intimate visuals, the film aims to remind viewers that they are not alone. This Is Now was filmed and released in 2015, continuing to resonate with audiences as a testament to resilience and awareness.
